With a modern day country western theme in Las Vegas, Courtney & William truly captured their love in the 40 degree weather for their engagement photographs. Both were having a great time just being together despite the large amounts of peacocks and geese that were lurking around the photo shoot. Valley of Fire is a an amazing location right outside of Las Vegas. It is a state park and is great destination for photography. Below are the photos of Jill & Scot's engagement session. Amanda & Jim had a great wedding at the Little Church of the West. After the Ceremony we drove up the Las Vegas Strip to the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign. Then from there we went to the Fremont Street. This was fun to see all the odd parts of Vegas and capture some Vegas style wedding photos. Amanda & Jim had planned to have their photos at the Sign Bone yard, but due to construction we had to change the location. We ended at the Las Vegas historic site. I love being a children's photographer. Each child I photograph has a unique personality. This brother and sister combo had two very different personalities already. The little sister was having a great time playing with her cracker wrapper while the big brother was trying to figure out how my camera worked. My two babies at 3 years old. A is turning 3 next month and K had just turned 3 in the picture below. I have my rough, brave boy (he is wearing a Nacho Libre mask just to clarify) and my model, princess girl. I took the photo of K with a Canon Rebel Xti, if you are looking for a good family camera, this was a great one for us. We even dropped it in the ocean on that trip and with the Canon warranty, they gave us a brand new camera (not that I am suggesting dropping your camera in the Atlantic Ocean to get a new one)

A few of our friends went to Canada for 2 weeks to visit family, during those 2 weeks we watched their dog Chloe. I have a new respect for Pet Photographers. Here are a few shots I grabbed of Chloe. Had a great time at South Park, PA the other day taking senior photos. It was pouring down rain the whole way to the location, as we got out and started photographing the rain stopped. Invisible Children is a non-profit organization. The main purpose of Invisible Children is to save the hundreds of abducted children who are being forced into Joseph Kony's LRA ( Lords Resistance Army)

She seriously stood in this pose for 10 minutes I had to grab the camera for this princess shot. She can be quite funny at times and I had a feeling she was thinking something very deep. She later told me she was practicing her royal bow for the king. I love these moments.

Accordian Wallet Albums

My sister-in-law first showed me these cute 2x2 albums over Christmas. I just loved them, you can stick it in your purse to show off your favorite photos, you can give them as gifts to family and friends, you can do so much with these fun books. I ordered mine as a brag book for the grandparents and myself. People kept asking to see pictures of my kids and being a photographer it was funny when I couldn't show them anything, but now I can.

Portland and Shasta

During our stay in Portland, Oregon we visited a cute shop called Sip and Kranz in the Pearl district (I will post pics later) We then took a five our tour south to a quaint little town called Coquille, Oregon. Population 3000, where Mark grew and his Mom and Dad still reside. It has been nice to visit and slow life down just enough to catch our breaths. While seeing old friends here I had an awesome photo shoot with the beautiful Shasta. Shasta is also a photographer and long time friend. We had perfect Oregon skies and no rain the whole time. Thanks Shasta for a great shoot!

Yesterday I went on a Engagement Shoot with David Burke. He is shooting their upcoming wedding in June. They were an awesome couple. Talking about things like The Office and Iron Man made for a great shoot. It was about 15* out side and they didn't show any sign of pain either. Thanks guys for a great shoot.

Peters Wood Lake

Taking in the beautiful 70* weather the other day at the Lake with the kids. Its hard to believe another fall has come and is on its way out. I saw Christmas trees at the mall already and was reminded to get outside and enjoy the fall season, Peters Wood Lake was a perfect spot to see the leaves changing and go for a walk.

After a few days of snow I was afraid we would have snow flakes in all of these shots, but we were blessed with 65* weather and had a great time. These Senior photos were taken at South Park in Bethel Park, PA with all natural lighting. Beth is very photogenic, so as you can see it was an easy shoot.
